Third Annual Halloween Bash at Indian Creek

Baton Rouge, La. (October 17, 2018) – Get ready for some family fun at Indian Creek Recreation Area in Woodworth, La. when trick-or-treaters converge on the campground Saturday, October 27, 2018.
This is the third annual Halloween event which includes a Howl-O-Ween pet parade and costume contest, horse and pony rides, free popcorn, cotton candy and drinks, face painting and photo opportunities. There will be a costume contest for kids up to 12 years old, a best decorated campsite award and then trick or treat caps off the day!
“What a wonderful way to celebrate this fun holiday. Bring your kids, bring your domesticated pets and join us at this beautiful campground for a day of fun,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry Mike Strain, D.V.M.
A food truck will also be on site selling hamburgers, hot dogs and nachos.
The cost to enter the recreation area is $7 per vehicle. There will be free trolley rides available to shuttle people who park outside of the recreation area.
