Notice of Intent Filed with State Register – LAC 7:XXI.101, 531, 533, 1103 and 1105 (Poultry Regulations)

In accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950, et seq., notice is hereby given that the Department of Agriculture and Forestry (“Department”), through the Office Animal Health and Food Safety, and the Board of Animal Health have filed a Notice of Intent with the State Register to amend LAC 7:XXI.101, 531, 533, 1103 and 1105 relative to poultry.  Interested persons may submit written comments, data, opinions and arguments regarding the proposed Rule.  Written submissions must be directed to John Walther, Assistant Commissioner of Animal Health and Food Safety, Department of Agriculture & Forestry, 5825 Florida Blvd., Suite 4000, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.  All comments must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on June 5, 2017. No preamble is available.
