Notice of Intent filed with State Register (LAC 7:XV.301, 303 and 321 – Maintenance and Inspection Fee)

LDAF has filed a notice of intent with the State Register giving public notice that the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, pursuant to the authority set forth in R.S. 3:1652, intends to amend LAC 7:XV.301, 303 and 321 to reduce the maintenance inspection fee paid by cotton producers from $5 per acre to $4 per acre.

Interested persons may submit written comments, data, opinions, and arguments regarding the proposed Rule. Written submissions must be directed to Marc Bordelon, Director of Boll Weevil Eradication Commission, Department of Agriculture and Forestry, 5825 Florida Blvd., Suite 3002, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806 and must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 10, 2019.
