Notice of Intent Filed with State Register – Equine Regulations

LDAF has filed a notice of intent with the State Register giving public notice that the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Office of Animal Health and Food Safety and the Board of Animal Health, intend to amend LAC 7:XXI.521-525 and Chapter 9 governing equine.  Interested persons may submit written comments, data, opinions and arguments regarding the proposed Rule.  Written submissions must be directed to John Walther, Assistant Commissioner of Animal Health and Food Safety, Department of Agriculture & Forestry, 5825 Florida Blvd., Suite 4000, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 and must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 4, 2017.  No preamble is available.
