Notice of Intent Filed with State Register – Agricultural Commodity Dealer and Warehouse Law
LAC 7:XXVII.101 – 111, 114, 115, 119, 123, 128, 129, 157 and 161

LDAF has filed a notice of intent with the State Register giving public notice that in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950, et seq., the Office of Agro-Consumer Services and and the Agricultural Commodities Commission (“Commission”) intend to amend LAC 7:XXVII.101 – 111, 114, 115, 119, 123, 128, 129, 157 and 161. Interested persons may submit written comments, data, opinions and arguments regarding the proposed Rule. Written submissions must be directed to Kyra Fitzgerald, Director of the Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission, Department of Agriculture & Forestry, 5825 Florida Blvd., Suite 5000, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 and must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on August 3, 2016.

Legislative Report
Strike Through
The second legislative report required by La. R.S. 49:968(D)(1)(b) for rules proposed by the Department of Agriculture and Forestry and the Louisiana Agricultural Commodities Commission. The notice of intent stated that all interested persons had through August 3, 3016, to submit written comments on the proposed rules. No oral or written comments or submissions were received by the Department. There were no requests for a hearing pursuant to R.S. 49:953(A)(2)(a).
