NASA Michoud Assembly Awarded “Certified Louisiana” Logo

Baton Rouge, La. (May 3, 2018) – The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) has deemed the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility eligible to be included in the “Certified Louisiana” logo program.

To be “Certified Louisiana,” a product must be made, grown, manufactured, processed, produced or substantially transformed in the state of Louisiana. The “Certified Louisiana” program is facilitated through the LDAF.

“The Michoud Assembly Facility is a major economic driver for the New Orleans area. We appreciate the facility’s commitment to conducting business in Louisiana for many decades,” said LDAF Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M.
