Louisiana Road Show at Whole Foods Market

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry’s Office of Marketing and Agro-Economic Development is hosting a Louisiana Road Show at Whole Foods in Baton Rouge Saturday, December 13.
The show begins at 9:30 a.m. and wraps up at 3 p.m.

Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M., said the Louisiana Road Shows always represent the best of Louisiana food and other products.
“Our food is famous all over the world,” Strain said. “It’s our chance to showcase the finest Louisiana has to offer to the Whole Foods Market customers.”
A live radio remote from Baton Rouge’s WYNK will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Participating vendors will offer door prizes that will be given away during the remote.
“The road show will feature everything that’s fun, exciting and delicious about Louisiana,” Strain said. “We’ll be serving root beer made with pure Louisiana cane sugar from Abita Brewing Company, delicious black coffee from River Road Coffees and plenty of Zapp’s Potato Chips to sample.”
