Emergency Rule Filed with State Register: Citrus Canker Disease Quarantine (LAC 7:XV.127)

LDAF has filed an emergency rule with the State Register giving public notice in accordance with the emergency provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:953(B), and pursuant to the authority of the state entomologist in R.S. 3:1652, the Department of Agriculture and Forestry has Forestry is adopting an emergency regulation establishing a quarantine in Plaquemines Parish for citrus canker disease caused by the bacterial pathogens Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri and Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. aurantifolii.   The rule affected by this emergency declaration is LAC 7:XV.127.
