Allen Parish Man Arrested for Criminal Damage to Land

Baton Rouge, La. (October 17, 2018) – An Allen Parish man is under arrest for allegedly damaging land in which the Timber Management Company is located.
On October 3, 2018, the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) received a complaint regarding damage to land in Allen Parish.
LDAF enforcement agents discovered evidence that Nathan Martin, 36, used a stolen tractor to drive through Timber Management Company land causing approximately $3,000 in damage to a quarter acre of timber.
Martin was charged with one count of criminal trespass and one count of simple criminal damage to property.
Martin is currently being held in the Allen Parish Jail and is facing additional criminal charges related to the incident.
